QB Issue Resolution:

I have been answering my own clients by pointing out that if their CPA is 4th generation or older, there is no reason to move to W10 and that hardware was never meant for W10. Since a computer generation is considered to be 18 months, they should wait until they get new computers, which will come with W10 and 6th gen CPUs.

Your QB 2014 client can roll back to R8, and that was working on W10, last I saw. But rolling back from W10 is the better answer.
