QuickBooks Online Sign In Page Not Found or Won't Load

If you can’t access the QuickBooks Online sign-in page or see a “Webpage cannot be found” or “QBO is currently unavailable” error, use these steps to resolve the issue.

First, ensure you are using the correct URL. Try accessing the sign-in page directly using one of these links:

If these links work, update your browser bookmarks or favorites to the new address.

Step 1: Clear your browser cache

Corrupted cache files or cookies can prevent pages from loading correctly. Clear your browser’s cache and cookies, then restart the browser and try signing in again.

Step 2: Try a private or incognito window

Using an incognito or private window helps determine if a browser extension or add-on is causing the issue.

If you can sign in using the private window, you may need to disable your browser extensions or switch to a different browser.

Step 3: Restart your computer and network hardware

Connectivity issues can sometimes be resolved by refreshing your network connection.

  1. Shut down your computer.
  2. Turn off your modem (and separate wireless router, if applicable) and unplug them from the power source.
  3. Wait 15–30 seconds.
  4. Plug the modem back in and wait for the lights to stabilize.
  5. If you have a separate router, plug it back in and wait for it to start up.
  6. Turn your computer back on and try signing in again.

Step 4: Check your browser settings

Ensure your browser is set to accept secure connections (SSL/TLS). Most modern browsers handle this automatically, but verify that your security settings are not set to “High,” which may block secure sites like QuickBooks Online. If you are using a corporate network, check with your IT administrator to ensure the QuickBooks Online domain is not blocked.
