How do I find previous reconciliation adjustments?

You can see every reconciliation adjustment you’ve ever entered by viewing the register of the Reconciliation Discrepancies account in QuickBooks Online. All adjustments made during reconcile are posted there automatically.

View all reconciliation adjustments at once

  1. Go to Accounting, then select Chart of accounts (or in the left menu, choose Chart of accounts directly if available).
  2. Find the account named Reconciliation Discrepancies (under the Equity section).
Usually, QuickBooks Online creates this account for you the first time you record a reconciliation adjustment.
  3. Click View register (or the Run report dropdown and choose Run report).
  4. The register displays every adjustment, with dates, amounts, and memos stating “Reconciliation Discrepancy – account reconciliation.”
For a more flexible view, select the Run report link above the register to open the Transaction Detail by Account report, which you can customize and export.

Alternative: Use search

Select the Search icon (magnifying glass) in the upper right, type Reconciliation Discrepancy, and press Enter. The results show all related transactions. You can narrow the results by choosing Advanced Search → Transaction type (like Journal Entry) and leave Memo/Description set to “Contains Reconciliation.” However, the register approach is the most straightforward way to see every adjustment in one list.
