Is Multiple Currency Available in the Essentials Plan?
Multicurrency is available in the QuickBooks Online Essentials and Plus plans. If you are on the Simple Start plan, you will need to upgrade to Essentials or higher to use this feature.
Important: Once you turn on multicurrency, you cannot turn it off.
How to turn on multicurrency
- Go to the Settings gear icon.
- Select Account and settings.
- Select Advanced from the left menu.
- In the Currency section, select the Edit (pencil) icon.
- Select the Multicurrency checkbox to turn it on.
- Choose your Home Currency.
- Select the checkbox to confirm you understand you can’t undo Multicurrency.
- Select Save, then Done.
After you enable this feature, you will see new currency fields on transactions where you can assign specific foreign currencies to customers, vendors, and accounts.
