Troubleshooting Adding a Purchase Order to a Bill

If the amount on a bill is incorrect after adding a purchase order, or if unexpected line items appear, it may be due to the “Pre-fill forms” setting bringing in data from a previous transaction.

To resolve the issue on the current bill:

  1. Open the bill.
  2. In the Item details section, locate the incorrect line.
  3. Hover over the line and select the trash can (or minus) icon to remove it.
  4. Select Save and close.

To prevent this from happening in the future, you can turn off the automation setting:

  1. Select the Settings gear icon.
  2. Select Account and settings.
  3. Select the Advanced tab.
  4. In the Automation section, uncheck the box for Pre-fill forms with previously entered content.
  5. Select Save, then Done.
