Why is time converted from decimals to hours:minutes?

QuickBooks Online automatically converts decimal time entries into the hours:minutes format. This is the standard behavior for the product and cannot be changed.

For example, if you enter 1.5 hours, QuickBooks Online converts it to 1:30 (1 hour and 30 minutes).
