To be IIAS compliant, the system would need to be able to verify that the item(s) being purchased are allowed under that customers healthcare plan. Because QuickBooks POS does not have that capability, the customer would have to pay for the item(s) themselves and submit a claim with the receipt to their provider for reimbursement.
