Calendar Year 2016 Discontinuation Policy (QuickBooks 2013 Products)
After April 01, 2016, access to add-on services will be discontinued for QuickBooks 2013 Desktop. This includes all versions of QuickBooks 2013 (Pro, Premier, Enterprise Solutions and Accountant Edition.
Note: If you do not use any of the add-on services in QuickBooks 2013, your product will continue to work for you but you will not be able to subscribe to live technical support or any of the other Intuit services that can be integrated with QuickBooks.
If you are using a product affected by service discontinuation and want to maintain access to live technical support and add-on services, you’ll need to upgrade to the online version of QuickBooks or the latest version of QuickBooks for desktop as soon as possible.
As services to older versions are scheduled to be discontinued, we notify affected customers in advance by mail or email and through in-product notifications and information on this website, such as this article. Q: What is being discontinued in 2016?

A: If you are using QuickBooks 2013. Open QuickBooks select F2. You will see your version in the top left side of the pop out window.
Q: How many versions do you support? 
A: We offer support and add-on services for the current version of QuickBooks and the two previous versions.
Q: Will QuickBooks continue to work? 
A: Your product will continue to work for you but you will not be able to subscribe to live technical support, additional services like online banking and currency table updates nor will you receive any further updates for QuickBooks 2013.
Q: Can I still use QuickBooks 2013? 
A: If you are happy with your current version of QuickBooks, you can continue to use it.
Q: Will I receive updates going forward for QuickBooks 2013? 
A: No. QuickBooks 2013 will not receive updates.
Q: How much will an upgrade cost and who can I speak to?

Please note that all QuickBooks Desktop applications prior to 2013 are unsupported. However, versions prior to QuickBooks 2013 also have upgrade paths which include QuickBooks online.
