QB Issue Resolution:

You’re getting a 0.00 starting balance because after the conversion nothing at all is reconciled.

Yes, this is how the conversion “works”.  QB Online could of course keep the reconciled things reconciled, but it doesn’t. Intuit could fix this anytime, but they haven’t.  It’s been like this for years.


The fix is to enter your ending balance from your last bank statement, then mark everything from the beginning of time that has cleared through that statement in one huge reconcile; mark everything except for the things not cleared as of your most recent statement.  Then the ending balance should match that statement’s balance.
