QB Issue Resolution:
You’ve got me here to help share some insights about changing the expected date of your sales/purchase order in QuickBooks Desktop.
QuickBooks uses the actual date of the sales/purchase order as the expected delivery date. However, you have the option to change the expected date by opening the sales/purchase order and update it manually. Setting your desired expected date as default is currently unavailable.
To change the expected date:
- Open the purchase order.
- Enter the correct Expected date (refer to the screenshot below).
- Click Save & Close.

Additionally, our developers are constantly working to enhance our product. That said, I’d encourage you to visit the New Feature section on your QuickBooks to get information regarding the latest product improvements.
To do that:
- Click on Help at the top menu bar.
- Select on New Features.
- Choose New Feature Tour.
This information should get you going.
