You didn’t mention the reasons you are using JE, but they are not used much in QB for routine work. They don’t report well, they bypass cash vs accrual basis reporting, they don’t allow for the use of items, they are not used for AR, AP, Sales taxes, QB payroll or Inventory, etc, etc.
So, they typically are the wrong transaction type for whatever you are doing.
