QB Issue Resolution:

Split usually means there is more than one entry in the transaction.

If you open the transaction, you will will see for deposits more than one line and for cheques more than one account used or an expense account and taxes charged.

If a deposit shows in the register that deposit has been applied (Deposited) to that bank account. It means the payment was recorded through the Receive Payments window for a customer and posted to Undeposited Funds. The Payments were then selected to make up the deposit.
