1099 forms: I want to create 1099 forms for the people I’ve paid in 2017

You can create 1099 for people you paid in 2016 but not for people you paid in 2017.

The forms for 2017 are not available probably until the end of this year. For 2016, you need to purchase the forms.

You need to purchase the 1099 forms. You can’t print them on plain white paper. After you print the A copy, just reprint it with the proper form in the printer.

1099 forms: I just e-filed my 1099’s, but had the address wrong for one of my vendors. How do I change this?

You can cancel and re-upload the 1099 forms if it were not yet successfully transmitted. On the other hand, once it was successfully transmitted, you’ll have to print and mail an amended 1099 form. You must have QBO Plus in order to create 1099’s, otherwise you will have to do them manually or use an online service.
