2011: I have QB pro 2011, client has QB pro 2015-can I upload a back up copy of hers to my older version?

No, QB is not backward compatible. The best you could do is to use a remote access program to log on to her computer to work directly in her QB.

2011: Under the TRANSACTIONS tab at the left,I have no registry. Where is my check registry that should have been transferred from my 2011 version of quickbooks?

Click the gear>chart of accounts>find the checking account>click register on the right hand side of the table
