2016: Can I delete first 6 months of 2016???

When you started the new company, did you continue with the old checking acct?  Normally, you would start a new checking acct.

You will have to delete the transactions one at a time or start a new file importing transactions only from July 1 forward.

2016: QB won’t let me e-pay on the 15th. Keeps telling me you can’t pay on a weekend or holiday. Aug 15, 2016 is a Monday and not a holiday.

You missed the Electronic Banking cutoff for Sending a payment. You need Lead Time.

Did you try just logging into EFTPS and entering that, yourself? Then, in QB, use Pay Liability as a check, and Assign Check #, and put EFTPS for the #.

2016: Where do I add in my EDD tax rate for 2016?

I’d be glad to help on how to change your EDD tax rate for 2016. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Click on Payroll Settings.
  3. Click on State Tax.
  4. Click on Add/Edit new rate.
  5. Enter effective date as 1/1/2016. (when will start calculating for the new rate)
