Run the Payroll Summary report. Set the date range for Last Calendar Year, and Columns by Quarter.

This is the same info that is going to be on those payroll forms, all in one report, excluding your actual Payments for these taxes.

941: When I try to archive, view or file the Q4 940 or 941 form in QuickBooks Online Payroll I am getting this error: “Failed to load PDF document.”

We are aware of an emerging issue impacting some of our QuickBooks Online Payroll users. These users are reporting that when they’re attempting to archive, view, or file the Q4 941 and 940 form they receive the error “Failed to load PDF document.”

The IRS is now accepting electronically filed forms 940, 941 and/or 944.  If you have not already submitted these forms, you may do so now.

The 941b instructions start with:

“Use this schedule to show your TAX LIABILITY for the quarter; DO NOT use it to show your deposits.”

There’s no real setting in QB to switch between the forms.  Instead, just run the one that applies to you.

941: How do I seperate 945 federal witholding from 941 federal witholding?

The 945 is for taxes withheld from 1099 vendors and for payments made from retirement accounts.  These are not run through payroll and so won’t appear on the 941.

941: Why my Oct Federal payroll tax due Nov 16th (monthly schedule)? Does form941 allow doing so. f941 instruction says it is due on Jan 31. Thanks.

Then do I just send the check together with my EIN/Company name to IRS? Is there any other form to go with the monthly payment?

I’m currently checking as to why the taxable wages is only showing $1500.00. While waiting on me, can you try to delete and recreate this paycheck?
