Add New from the COA.

 

If it had any activity at all you could not have deleted it but only made it inactive so instead you would change the view of COA to display inactive – select and make active again.

Accounts: How do i change the order of the accounts on the financial statements?

You can put them in order as long as First sequence is Account Type.

Open the chart of accounts and use View menu > Re-Sort List. For any List in QB, if a report seems out of sequence, Re-Sort the underlying list.

Accounts: How do I make inactive items active again?

Go to the gear icon and check the box to show inactive. This works for all lists, accounts, clients, vendors etc. Once you can see the inactive item you will have the action available to make active.

Accounts: I just learned that Intuit is forcing me to spend 428% more money per month to maintain my current QBO service usage. This is outrageous.

If the accounts are truly separate, you place an order in one or the other specifically, then you would need to list the vendor twice, the second time add a period to the name so QB will take it.

Either do it the way you suggested or receive 2 checks for how you want to deposit the money.
