actually paid: Preparing the 2nd qtr 941 and we had 6 employees but line 1 is pre-filled with only 5. Why are only 5 employees showing and not the 6 that were actually paid?

This number is calculated by counting the number of employees who have a paycheck where the pay period includes the 12th of the 3rd month of the quarter.  QuickBooks does look into the month after the quarter ends for matching paychecks.
