additional information: I am trying to edit the fed income tax for an employee but cannot find where to do it.

Let me help you with editing your employee’s federal income tax.

Here’s how:

  1. Select Workers from the left menu > Employees in the navigational menu.
  2. Select Run Payroll.
  3. Enter in your employee’s payroll information.
  4. Under the Total Pay, select the pencil icon.
  5. Select the Employee taxes section and enter the set amount for federal/and or state income tax.

if you have already done your tax return don’t touch 2016.  If you haven’t had your return done, then just date your additional information as 2016 and do your thing.

No, you can not insert columns on any forms

nor is there the ability to create custom fields for an item, customer, vendor either – you are stuck with what intuit provides
