Advanced Settings: I am trying to set up Classes in QBO. The instructions seem easy enough but when I click on Advanced under Account and Settings, where is the “Categories” to edit?

If you’ve Plus ($60 per month) plan, you should see “Catagories” tab under Advanced settings. This feature is not available in other plans (Essentials and Simple).

Advanced Settings: I can’t change my home currency

You can change the home currency after purging the account. If you encounter any error message I suggest to contact email support to report this issue.

You can choose the correct country and I recommend creating a new account. Then, change the home currency in Advanced settings.

Advanced Settings: LastPass stopped working on the QBO log in page this week. Best guess is Intuit disabled this chrome plug in or ability for third party credential managements apps.

I had the same issue, but found a workaround.

Do the following:

  1. Edit you QuickBooks lastpass info
  2. Click “Advanced Settings”
  3. Click “Edit Form Fields” (there should be at least two already called “login” and “password”
  4. Add the following fields:
    loginform:login (type “Text”) (set it to whatever “login” is set to)
