AMEX: I inactivated a AMEX card by mistake in CHART OF ACCOUNTS. How do I activate it again?

In your chart of accounts, at the bottom click on “Include inactive” (or whatever the phrase is – I don ‘t have QB open at the moment). Locate the AMEX account, right-click on it and then “Make account active.”

What should work fine is to import all the transactions from Web Connect or Direct Connect. You see them in the Banking->Download Transactions Window. They are kind of “on deck” – not yet accepted into your register. You can choose which ones you want to delete or import there one […]
