antivirus: I was trying to run the 4th quarter reports and it is asking for a password for QBTaxFormsLink. What is this?

Yes, this happens when another app, usually an antivirus app, tries to open and read the code inside the Excel report file you’re using.  And does it wrong.   The fix is to configure your virus checker so it does not do this.
