Audit Trail: Can’t get the following from the audit report and need to know if i can and if so how – who created/deleted memorized transaction and who made customer ‘inactive’

Changes to Customer names are not tracked.

Memorizing a transaction is not tracked. But the Creation of one that then is Saved and/or Deleted, either from the memorization or from the creation, will be on the audit trail.

Audit Trail: I need to run a report which shows which invoices a specific employee has created

It’s not easy.  You can use the Audit Trail to see who created and who edited each invoice, but you can’t filter it by who entered or edited the transactions.

Audit Trail: I voided an invoice that I should not have voided. Is there anyway to reverse this?

No, you have to re-enter it.  You can use the audit trail report to see what was there before to replicate it.

Audit Trail: can i retrieve the invoice that i have deleted?

Unfortunately there’s no way to retrieve a deleted invoice. You can go to avoid it in the lead report to see what you deleted or your audit trail. But then you have to reenter it.

Audit Trail: Is there a way to determine what date an AJE was entered? For Example, all 2016 AJES are dated 12/31/2016. Can I see what date the entries were posted?

Reports menu > Accountant & Taxes, AJE report. Set the info such as Date Range. Customize, top left. On the Display tab, checkmark “Entered/Last Modified.”

Audit Trail: Can QuickBooks make journal entries on its own?

When you or someone voids a check and “yes” is selected, QB will make a reversing journal entry. That is one example. Recurring transactions are another.

Run Audit Trail for time period surrounding entries and if QB was the creator it will tell you
