autofill: Stop Auto-fill of Payee on Checks

Turning off the auto-recall feature will not remove details from previously created transactions. You can also go to the Customer Center to get a list of all invoices. Here’s how:

 

  1. Go to the Transactions tab in the Customer Center.
  2. Select Invoices.
  3. Select All for Date.

autofill: How can i turn off the auto-fill for email address of a specific customers invoices?

Of course right after posting this question, i realized my error.  All i had to do was go to my customers, click on my “cash customers” edit the preferences, delete the email address, and click the save button!

autofill: Should Account auto-fill in Batch Enter Transactions if I cut & paste info from Excel & the vendor is an existing vendor? It only does if I type vendor name vs paste?

There isn’t a way to auto-fill the account in Batch Enter Transactions. You need to include the account in the Excel spreadsheet in order to paste the information into QuickBooks.

autofill: My client uses QuickBooks Pro Desktop 2017. There is no option to auto-fill memo in JE under preferences. Is there a way around it?

That’s not a feature of Pro.

There is no setting like that in preferences > checking

menu edit>preferences

auto numbering of checks can not be turned off
