back up files: Been using Quick Books 2014 and my old computer died. I do have an external hard drove with a back up copy of my old C drive and a 3 month old QB backup. Both Window 7

If your new computer has Windows 10, I don’t think QB 2014 is compatible with it.  But, you could try it to see if it works.  You can download QuickBooks from the QuickBooks support site.
