bank rec: How do you get journal entries to show up on your bank rec screen?I did a j/e to adjust for a 0.10 diff,but it does not show as an option to reconcile it with my bank

What date did you put on the entry, and is that reconciliation screen still selected Not to show transactions after the ending bank statement date? Perhaps you are hiding it from yourself with that option selected.

bank rec: Correcting A Reconciled Journal Entry

Changing the memo line will not affect your balances.  You will get a warning that the transaction has been changed, however.   But if it is just the memo words, it won’t affect the bank rec at all.

bank rec: Changing the invoiced customer after payment has been received

You will have to delete the deposit first. Then delete the customer payment. Change the invoice, reenter the customer payment & finally reenter the deposit.

 

if the deposit is already reconciled, it is going to affect your bank rec., also.

Why not just reconcile it to zero.  Use the past bank rec’s to update it.
