Use bank transfers instead of journal entries and they will match. You will find that under the plus sign.

You can just exclude the bank feed transactions that won’t match too. It is just a tool, the bank feeds.

Then you have added a vat code where its not required or the accounts are set up to charge vat via a default vat code open the chart of accounts and look at vat column this should be empty.
