Browsing History: I keep getting this error when trying to add a new user – Internal error in authentication service – and it won’t let me add anyone.

If you’re using Internet Explorer (IE) browser, this error is due to the default settings under Browser History.

Here are the steps to clear this error:

  1. From IE, click Tools > Internet Options.
  2. Click Browsing History > Settings.
  3. Under “Check for newer versions of stored pages” select Every time I visit the webpage.
