You, as a sole proprietor , do not get paid. But all proceeds belong to you and you alone. You will be taxed on any business profit whether you take any of it or leave it all in the bank.

Cash Drawer: We are starting a concession stand in our building and need to put $25 into a float for change. If I get $25 out of the bank do I put the debit as a balance sheet?

Just another bank type account, similar to Cash Drawer or Petty Cash but I am guessing you want to keep track so call it anything, coffee fund, or… you could make this account a sub of other Cash accounts and on a simple balance sheet the $25 will be hidden […]
