That’s two different things. You can change the default account on a vendor, but that does not change any actual transaction data. Transactions are edited one at a time.

You are seeing the Transaction’s side of the entry = the credit.

Open any Bill or Bill payment and use Ctl Y to see this.

For example:

Bill For $500, with multiple splits to three or four or five items and/or accounts, still = Credit AP.

center: I need to reinstall Pro 2011, but I can seem to find where I do this? I tried the download center and it keeps trying to download 2013. Any ideas on where I can do this?

Intuit no longer provides links to download the software older than 2013 for some strange reason
