Common stock: Paying a vendor invoice in both cash and common stock. How do I record so the vendor gets a 1099 for the total invoice amount and the A/P balance is reduced to zero?

You can create a partial payment transaction coming from your “Cash” and the remaining balance from your “Common stock”. This way, it’ll zero out your register. I’ve attached a screenshot for a reference.
