I would prefer to just edit the descriptions and not redo the reconciliations. If I am to make the change and it re-reconciles those items what effect will that have on the October reconciliation? Changing the memo line will not affect your balances. You will get a warning that the transaction has been changed, however. But if it is just the memo words, it won’t affect the bank rec at all.
