QuickBooks Pro 2016: 2016 QB Pro Desktop decided to not send invoices using Thunderbird. Did work before xmas. It’s coming up with QB email screen? but im not sure, that will not send either

QuickBooks Pro 2016 no longer supports Mozilla Thunderbird as an email provider. It is configured to work with Office Outlook and Internet Explorer. However, you can use alternate email options available through Web mail.

QB Pro does not have the ability to Export report templates; it is only allowed to Import them. Pro is the Entry Level tool. As a Pro Advisor, you should have and be using your Accountant Edition.

QuickBooks Pro 2016: Quickbooks Pro 2016 desktop is crashing when we disable TLS 1.0 on the server it’s running on. Change it back and QB works.

The issues were that if I disabled TLS 1.0, I could no longer RDP to the server.   If I enabled FIPS compliant algorithms then RDP started working, but this caused Quickbooks to crash.

The solution was to not disable TLS 1.0, but to disable the Cipher Suites that TLS 1.0 uses.  […]

I’ve seen many posts about this same problem, most of them re: QB 2016, and many fixes.  First, have you updated your QB?  If not, do that first, then reboot your machine.  If that doesn’t help, see these threads:

The error reported on the client workstation is an H202 error

I was able to resolve the problem by adding the server IP and server host name to the hosts file on each workstation.
Steps to fix (on each workstation):
