Submit product feedback and feature requests
We value your input and use customer suggestions to improve QuickBooks Online. While we can’t promise that every request will be implemented, sharing your ideas helps our product team understand what you need.
How to submit feedback
You can send your suggestions directly to our developers through the product.
- Select the Gear icon at the top right.
- Select Feedback.
- Enter your idea or suggestion and select Next.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to finish submitting your feedback.
Common feature requests
Here are some features frequently requested by users that are not currently available in QuickBooks Online. If these are important to you, we encourage you to submit them via the Feedback link above.
- Custom pricing levels: QuickBooks Online does not currently support setting up different pricing tiers (such as wholesale vs. retail) for different customer types.
- Sales orders and work orders: These specific transaction types are not available in the standard QuickBooks Online workflow at this time.
- Custom credit note templates: Currently, customization options are primarily available for invoices. Credit note formatting is limited.
- Mint.com integration: There is no direct integration available to transfer data between Mint.com and QuickBooks Online.
- Direct bill pay: QuickBooks Online is a record-keeping tool. You can record bills and payments, but the software does not pay bills directly on your behalf.
Known limitations and workarounds
Some features have specific limits or display behaviors that we are aware of.
- Printing invoices: There is a current limit of 30 invoices per printing job. If you need to print more, you will need to split the job into smaller batches.
- Bank register entry line: The data entry line in the bank register appears at the very bottom of the window. There is no option currently available to move this line to a different location.
- Receive Payment memo field: The memo field is located at the bottom left of the Receive Payment screen. It may be easy to miss if the window is not fully expanded.
