QB Issue Resolution:

QB does not have a way to automatically increase a number that represents the last sold edition number, ie it can not go from 231 of 100 to 232 of 100 when sold, or even go from 231 to 232

The best you could do would be to create a custom field to hold that edition number of last sold, BUT when you sell another you have to manually go in and change the last sold number.

To be honest it would be much easier to list each piece of art as a page in an excel note book with edition numbers down the left side, for each sale enter the customer sales receipt or invoice number and date
