QB Issue Resolution:
We have identified a problem that will affect users of QuickBooks Online from categorizing their downloaded transactions.
If a bank uses the same word to start all of their transaction details, and the customer attempts to categorize a single withdrawal transaction by Payee and Account, the details for these transactions will automatically change. The system will automatically change the details of all of the pending transactions to that of the payee and account due for the transaction the customer had attempted to modify.
This results in the customers having to manually re-categorize each transaction.
It should be noted that this problem will not occur with deposit transactions, even if the first part of each deposits detail starts with the same word (i.e. ‘deposit’)
Our specialists are aware of this issue, and are busy implementing a solution.
