QB Issue Resolution:

Let’s check your checking account in the Chart of Accounts to see if the deposit is there. I can guide you through the steps.

  1. Click Accounting.
  2. Click Chart of Accounts.
  3. Locate the checking account and then click View register.

Once verified, go to the reconciliation page and review the deposit again. Make sure the transaction date is before your reconciliation ending date. Here’s how:

  1. Click Accounting.
  2. Click Reconcile. Then, choose your checking account.
  3. Enter your Ending balance and Ending date. Enter the interest and service charge if necessary.
  4. Click Start reconciling.
  5. Click the Deposits tab.
