QB Issue Resolution:
It’s possible that the associated account of the item is your bank. I’d recommend reviewing it.
Here’s how you can do it:
- Go to Lists.
- Select Item list.
- Double click the item, then make sure to select the correct account.
- Click OK, then click Yes if a prompt will appear.
Updating the associated account of the item doesn’t update your Chart of Accounts. You’ll need to go back to the invoice and toggle the item to refresh it.
- Open the invoice.
- Toggle the item.
- Click Save & Close.
- If prompted click Yes.
When you go back to your Chart of Accounts the invoice should no longer be there.
