QB Issue Resolution:

Right now, transactions for inactive/deleted customers don’t show on the transactions->sales page. What we can do is let our engineers know that this is something that we would like to do! The way we let them know is by leaving them Feedback! To leave feedback we’ll go to the Gear > Feedback > Post your own idea.

As an alternative, you can go to the customer page, click on the little gear icon beside the print and export icons and check off “include inactive” and then you can select your inactive customer to view their transactions. These transactions will be under the “Transaction list” tab.
