QB Issue Resolution:
Currently, there’s an ongoing investigation about users not able to submit their VAT using the bridging tool. But I have two options you can consider.
Our engineers are already investigating this ongoing issue. They’re also working to provide you with a permanent resolution so you can submit your VAT using the bridging tool.
In the meantime, you can consider these two options to temporarily resolve this. First, you can adjust your VAT values from the VAT centre and normally submit it through the Submit Return screen.
To adjust and submit your values, you can follow these steps:
- Click on Taxes from the left panel.
- Click on Submit Return.
- Click on Adjust.
- Click on Submit to HMRC.
The second option is to contact our QuickBooks Online Support team. This way, they can review your VAT returns and help you create a Journal Entry to include in your VAT submission.
Here’s how you can contact them:
- Log in to your QuickBooks account.
- Click on Help.
- Choose Contact Us.
