QB Issue Resolution:
When using Online Banking in QuickBooks Online, there are three options to add the bank transactions to your register: Add, Match, and Transfer.
You can use the Match option if you’ve recorded a transaction within QuickBooks before it cleared the bank. The system will recognize the existing transaction after you’ve downloaded the ones coming from your bank.
There are two ways to match the transactions. You can either match what the system recognizes or look for the transaction manually.
- In the Banking tab, go to the For Review section.
- Click the bank transaction you want to look for a match.
- Select the Find match radio button.
- In the Match transactions window, set the filters to look for the existing transaction.
- Mark the transaction you want to match and click Save.
