QB Issue Resolution:
It could be that the Date column was removed from your invoice template that’s why it’s not showing in the preview and email. Don’t worry; I’m here to help you restore the dates. We only need to edit your template.
- Click the Gear icon in the upper-right hand corner.
- Under Settings, select Custom Form Styles.
- Find your template and click Edit.
- Go to the Content tab and on the right pane, click the Activity table in the invoice preview.
- Check the Date box.
- Click Preview PDF to check the look of your invoice. To save it, click Done.
To select the template, open the invoice and click Customise at the bottom of the transaction. Choose the template and click Save. I know sometimes screenshots are very helpful so I’ve provided some below.
