QB Issue Resolution:

It’s just a QB rule, as it can’t handle the case.  Each AR and AP transaction is ascribed to one customer or one vendor, which drives their balance and reports.  QB can’t handle the reporting if there are two names on an AR or AP transaction, as then it would be unclear who the transaction details belong to.
