QB Issue Resolution:

a purchase order for inventory should never show an account, you should be using the item detail section about half way down the PO page. – are you?

did you import inventory from desktop? if so does each item have two sub items shown in the products and services page? If so that is a bug in the import process, and you need to read and follow the instructions in this link
